Station Correction and Removal
How station operators and rights holders can request a correction or removal.
Send a request
Email [email protected] with RadioMap Station Request in the subject line. Include the station name, station UUID or RadioMap URL, stream or homepage, country or city, requested action and the field at issue.
Data minimization
Describe your relationship to the station briefly. Do not send government identity documents or sensitive personal data through ordinary email unless a secure verification method is agreed.
Review process
RadioMap may verify the listing, ask a proportionate follow-up question, suppress a credible rights or safety concern, correct local enrichment or direct a catalogue correction to Radio Browser.
An accepted removal is recorded by station UUID in the public suppression list without requester identity or private evidence. Current catalogue builders reapply that list before publication and when using a stale fallback, so a removed station does not return in the next refresh.
Each future catalogue projection must integrate the same suppression list and pass a fresh validation before publication. Private correspondence and supporting evidence must not be committed to the public repository.
Podcast correction or removal
For podcasts, email [email protected] with RadioMap Podcast Request in the subject line. Include the show name, Podcast Index feed ID or RSS URL, the RadioMap directory URL, the requested correction or removal, and your relationship to the show. Do not send sensitive identity documents through ordinary email.
Accepted removals are applied by feed ID or feed URL to the local podcast suppression file before the next static publication. The builder reapplies exclusions on refresh, and the build checks that suppressed feeds do not appear. Private correspondence and evidence are not included in public catalogue files. Source metadata corrections may also be directed to the publisher or Podcast Index.
