How RadioMap approaches global radio discovery and direct station connections.
A sonic atlas
RadioMap is a global live-radio discovery service operated by ZENIT GROUP S.A.S. in Cali, Colombia.
The current local validation build uses a validated local fixture to let listeners explore stations by place, genre, language and local time while keeping the site static. The full live catalogue remains pending.
Direct connections
Audio begins only after a deliberate station choice or Play action. Audio is streamed directly from the station or its stream host. RadioMap does not host or record the audio.
Choosing a station or pressing Play connects your browser to the station’s stream provider, which receives the network request. RadioMap does not rebroadcast, download, transcode or proxy station audio.
Independent service
RadioMap is independent of Radio Browser, OpenStreetMap, OpenFreeMap, OpenMapTiles and the stations listed. Attribution or a station listing does not imply partnership, sponsorship or endorsement.
Podcast discovery
RadioMap also provides podcast directories by language, topic and publisher-declared country. Green map points open country collections; they do not locate individual studios. Podcast audio connects directly from the listener’s browser to the publisher’s audio host after Play.
