Privacy Policy
Privacy information for the local RadioMap validation build and planned static launch.
Controller and privacy contact
ZENIT GROUP S.A.S. is the controller for the first-party RadioMap functions described below. The registered office is Carrera 7T No. 73-119, Cali, Valle del Cauca, Colombia; NIT 902023036-6.
Privacy Contact: Emilssen Rodríguez Ballesteros. Email: [email protected]. Phone: +57 314 729 1775.
Launch configuration
ZENIT GROUP S.A.S. operates RadioMap. The current build creates no RadioMap account, cloud sync, visitor database, server-side profile or advertising profile. Optional listening history, favorites, Radio Passport and UUID-only journeys are stored locally in this browser; IndexedDB is used when available, with a memory fallback marked “not saved” when it is unavailable. Advertising and behavioural profiling are disabled, and personal listening data is not synced to a RadioMap server.
No station stream is proxied through RadioMap or ZENIT GROUP S.A.S.
Data categories and purposes
Browser-local categories can include favorites, listening history, Radio Passport, UUID-only journeys, settings and import/export files chosen by the user. These choices are used to provide requested discovery features and let the user export or clear them.
When a visitor requests the site, map tiles or a station stream, infrastructure and third-party providers can receive ordinary network and device-request information such as IP address, user agent, time, requested resource and security signals. These requests support delivery, reliability, abuse prevention and the connection the user requested. Messages sent to RadioMap can contain contact details and request content for handling and documenting that request.
Cloudflare Web Analytics provides aggregated page-view and performance statistics. Its browser beacon loads from static.cloudflareinsights.com and submits through RadioMap's same-origin /cdn-cgi/rum endpoint. It is not used for advertising, cross-site tracking or RadioMap listener profiles, and RadioMap does not operate a separate analytics database.
Recipients, direct services and transfers
Cloudflare provides static hosting, delivery, security and Web Analytics for RadioMap. Normal network information and aggregated page-view and performance measurements may be processed by Cloudflare under the applicable agreement and privacy terms when a visitor requests the site. The final regional transfer and provider review remains pending.
The validated local fixture provides discovery, an interactive map and a user-initiated player. Choosing a station or pressing Play connects your browser to the station’s stream provider, which receives the network request. The interactive map requests tiles from OpenFreeMap. Those third parties receive their own network requests under their policies.
Providers, stations and stream hosts may process requests outside the visitor’s country. The applicable roles, contracting entities, locations, safeguards and region-specific transfer disclosures remain pending provider evidence and human legal review. RadioMap does not claim that a single transfer mechanism applies everywhere.
Retention
Browser-local profile data remains on the device until the user clears it, imports a replacement or the browser removes it; temporary memory fallback data ends when the page session ends. Cloudflare Web Analytics and other third-party network records follow the relevant provider's current retention configuration and policy rather than a RadioMap browser setting.
Contact, privacy, correction, removal and security requests are limited to the information needed to handle, document and defend the request. The final retention schedule remains subject to human legal review before production launch.
Rights and complaints
Depending on applicable law, a person may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection or withdrawal of a prior optional choice, and may be able to complain to a competent privacy authority. The exact scope, exceptions, identity checks, response deadlines and authority wording remain pending human legal review.
Send privacy requests to [email protected] with RadioMap Privacy Request in the subject line. Do not send identity documents through ordinary email unless a secure process is specifically arranged.
Children
RadioMap is a general-audience radio discovery service and is not designed to create child accounts or solicit personal information from children. The applicable age thresholds, parental-consent rules and region-specific wording remain pending human legal review.
Future advertising and measurement
Advertising, a consent-management platform, Google Analytics and behavioural profiling are disabled. The only active site measurement is Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregated traffic and performance statistics; no Google advertising or analytics request is made by this shell. Any future advertising or additional measurement would require reviewed provider, purpose, data-category, recipient, retention, transfer and consent disclosures before activation.
Where a choice is required, a reviewed CMP using the then-current applicable framework must block optional vendor requests until the choice is applied, keep a permanent privacy-settings entry available and preserve core access after rejection.
Changes
Material changes to how RadioMap handles personal data require updated public information and review before activation.
Podcast connections
Opening a podcast directory loads static RadioMap files. It does not contact the Podcast Index API or preload podcast audio or artwork. Pressing Play connects your browser directly to the podcast’s audio host, which can receive your IP address, browser and ordinary request information under its own privacy practices.
Choosing “Load more episodes from publisher” sends a separate request directly from your browser to the publisher’s RSS feed. That request omits browser credentials and the referring page URL. It is optional; publishers may block it through their browser access policy. Publisher links also lead to external services. These providers may process requests outside your country.
