Cookies and Local Storage
Current cookie and browser-storage behavior on RadioMap.
Current local build
RadioMap does not intentionally set non-essential first-party cookies. Advertising, consent tooling, Google Analytics and behavioural profiling are disabled. Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled for aggregated page-view and performance statistics and does not set a RadioMap analytics cookie or create a RadioMap visitor profile.
Current and planned local features
Optional listening history, favorites, Radio Passport and UUID-only journeys use IndexedDB in this browser. If IndexedDB is unavailable, a temporary memory fallback is marked “not saved”; tiny low-data and reduced-motion UI settings may use local storage. No RadioMap account, cloud sync or server profile is created.
Third parties
Cloudflare provides delivery, security and Web Analytics. The analytics beacon loads from static.cloudflareinsights.com and submits measurements through the same-origin /cdn-cgi/rum endpoint. A station, stream host, map provider or external website can operate under its own storage and privacy rules when a user chooses to connect.
Future optional technologies
No Google advertising, Google Analytics or behavioural-profiling technology is loaded by the current shell. Before any future optional vendor request is sent where consent is required, a reviewed CMP must apply the user's choice under the then-current applicable framework and block the request until that choice exists.
A permanent privacy-settings entry must remain available after a future CMP is activated. Rejecting or withdrawing optional advertising or measurement must not block the core map, search, station list or direct player. Vendor names, purposes, storage durations and identifiers must be disclosed in the approved version before activation; they are currently pending.
